Advantages of Studying in France

France is the fourth most popular destination for Americans studying abroad. French is the second most popular language studied in the United States.

The secret to find open arms and a friendly smile when you visit France, learn and use the French language while shopping, walking down the street and eating in restaurants. To have a lot of great conversations at local, small outdoor cafes, manage to have a pleasant chat with people born in France, while sipping coffee.

There are programs to study in France that are developed for other countries, so the occasional traveler who wants to learn more about a specific topic, you can find sessions of summer classes, college credit sessions, high school programs and graduate programs.

France offers a wide variety of resources in finding a place to study in Paris, Bordeaux, the French Riviera of Grenoble and Strasbourg is even possible to learn French online. Paris is a clear favorite destination for most Americans who wish to study in France, apart from its famous cultural sites, which largely would be added to any experience of studying in France.

Bordeaux is the region famous for its wines. The city is also home to several universities that make it easy to meet other French students. The French Riviera stretches from the small University of Aix-en-Provence, located near the city of Marseille, all the way along the Mediterranean coast to the city of Nice.

Study in this area gives you access to the most beautiful beaches of France, and the opportunity, if the program is carried out in May to visit the world famous Cannes Film Festival. Grenoble is located in the mountainous region of France, offering a winter wonderland for snow lovers and their related activities.

Being a small town surrounded by a landscape that is both majestic and romantic, Grenoble is one of my favorite places to visit. If you are interested in studying and networking for an internship in a large organization based in Europe, then you should choose to live in Strasbourg.

Among other large organizations, the city is the seat of the Council of Europe, the European Parliament and the International Institute of Human Rights. Another great advantage of studying in Strasbourg is its central location on the Rhine frontier with Germany, which lets you use this city as a base to easily explore the central part of Germany.
